The SUNY Adirondack Men's Soccer team lost a close one on Wednesday at Fulton-Montgomery Community College, 2-1.
The Timberwolves were the first team to get a score on the board when Spencer Williams netted his first collegiate goal midway through the first period off an assist from Parker Rescott. The 1-0 lead would not last long as Fulton-Montgomery would answer almost immediately with a goal of their own. The game would stay tied at 1-1 until the 82nd minute when Fulton-Montgomery was able to score the go ahead goal that would ultimately be the game winner. Freshman Aidan Fox had 15 saves for the Timberwolves in goal.
Following the loss, the Timberwolves are now 1-11 on the season. They will have the weekend off and will look to rebound back on Wednesday, October 16th when they will host Vermont Technical College. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
