SUNY Adirondack Men's Soccer headed west for a regional match up with Onondaga Community College. The teams battled it out from the start of the game. The Lazer put the first point on the board but the Timberwolves countered just three minutes later on a goal from Emiliano Nicasio, off a Jose Canas assist. Timmy Motsiff, off an assist from Tyler Clute, struck just ten minutes later to take the lead 2-1. Each team added another goal before the end of the first half. It was Emiliano Nicasio who struck again for the Timberwolves off a feed from Daniel Spurle. Adirondack held the lead 3-2 at the end of the first half.
In the second half, Harvey Haycock found the back of the net at the forty-six-minute mark off an assist from Timmy Motsiff, extending the lead. Unfortunately, it wouldn't be enough as Onondaga kept up the pressure scoring three unanswered goals to take the win.
Final score: 5-4 Onondaga
Adirondack will be back on their home turf in a mid-week match up against conference opponent North Country on Wednesday, September 18.
