SUNY Adirondack Men's Soccer hosted the #1 regionally ranked and #2 nationally ranked conference foe Herkimer Community College. From the first kick, the Generals were strong and relentless. The Timberwolves were able to hold them to mid-field play with a few attacks on goal but Herkimer eventually found the back of the net. The first goal came at the 17-minute mark. Two more goals were scored in the first half with another four in the second.
Sebastian Maynard fended off sixteen shots, saving 9.
Final score: 7-0 Herkimer
Adirondack will look to gain back some confidence when they take on non-conference opponent Vermont State University – Randolph in a mid-week match-up.
