Hasemann Shuts Down Twins
Bailey Hasemann has been pitching lights out all year and continued her strong arming ways as she shut down the Twins offense for a big road win.
Hasemann threw all 7 innings in a complete game win that saw her showcase her efficiency and power. She allowed only 3 hits in the shutout and struck out 10 batters.
Columbia-Greene matched her pitch for pitch for the first 5 innings of the contest, but the Timberwolves offense woke up in the 6th and plated 4 runs, paced by a Hannah Salmon RBI double. Danielle Flint, Kaylee Coon and Carly Hildenbrandt followed her up with singles and Hannah Grady hit a sacrifice fly to plate the 4th run. They continued to light up the scoreboard in the 7th as Flint, Hildenbrandt and Grady singled in runs.
The Timberwolves next play in the second game of the double header at Columbia-Greene.
