Softball Drops Game To Mohawk Valley
April 2
Queensbury, NY
Adirondack seemed to play a little more confidently in game two of their double header with Mohawk Valley. Although the Hawks put up seven points by the end of the third inning, Adirondack's bats were more active. Maddy Wasserman tripled on a line drive, allowing Madison Pincheon to score in the third inning. Wasserman, Morgan Randall and Pincheon each collected two hits for Adirondack. Lillian Slattery was able to steal home to put another run on the board. Marissa Jarvis and Randall each drove one run for the Timberwolves in the seventh inning but it wouldn't be enough to take the win.
Wasserman was the lone pitcher for Adirondack. She allowed five hits and six runs (five earned) over six innings. She had zero strikeouts and walked three. Final score 7-4, Mohawk Valley
Weather issues have forced the reschedule of their April 3 Word of Life game, now rescheduled to April 30. The Timberwolves have the week off and will be back on the field when they head out to Finger Lakes Community College on April 13.
