Softball Out-Hits Finger Lakes But Takes A Loss

Adirondack Softball played their second game of the day against the Finger Lakes. The Lakers opened the scoring at the top of first inning with three runs. Adirondack jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after Paeton Butler and Samantha Manning each singled, scoring runs. Butler also stole home and added a point to the board. The Lakers flipped the score to their advantage scoring five funs in the fifth inning. The Timberwolves were able to add three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning but it wasn't enough to over-take Finger Lakes.
Adirondack out-hit the Lakers 13-8. Morgan Randall and Alyssa Jaffe each collected three hits, going 3-for-4 while Marissa Jarvis, Jaffe, Butler (2), Manning and Naylenie Taveras each had RBI's.
Samantha Manning was in the circle for Adirondack. The lefty gave up eleven runs on eight hits, striking out three. Final score 11-7 Finger Lakes
Adirondack needs a quick rest before they travel south to SUNY Broome for a rescheduled morning game.
