SUNY Adirondack Softball hosted conference rival Hudson Valley Tuesday afternoon. The Vikings are ranked #5 in the Regional Coaches Poll and they proved why in the first inning of play. Hudson Valley put eight runs on the board before the Timberwolves could stop them. Adirondack put one point on the board in the bottom of the first inning on a Madison Pincheon steal of home. Morgan Randall doubled in the bottom of the fourth inning scoring Marissa Jarvis and Maddy Wasserman. It wasn't meant to be for Adirondack.
Samantha Manning started the game for Adirondack facing five hitters and giving up eight runs. Aubreigh DeMello relieved Manning going five innings, surrendering ten runs on thirteen hits and striking out nine. Final score 18-3, Hudson Valley
