SUNY Adirondack Softball hosted regional foe Jefferson in weekend play on Saturday. It was a low scoring game through the first six innings with Jefferson in the lead 3-1. The Cannoneers took control of the game in the seventh inning scoring thirteen runs. Adirondack had one inning to try to turn it around but it wasn't meant to be.
Lillian Slattery led the Timberwolves with two runs batted in, going 1-for-3 on the day. Maddy Wasserman and Samantha Manning each collected two hits.
Manning started the game for Adirondack. The southpaw allowed 18 hits and 16 runs over six and one-third innings, striking out four and walking seven. Aubreigh DeMello came in relief facing three batters. Final score 16-3, Jefferson
