Jefferson Walk-Off Takes Down Softball

Adirondack Softball played its second game of the weekend against regional opponent Jefferson. The Cannoneers put a run on the board in the first inning but Madison Pincheon doubled in the top of the third to tie up the game. A steal of home by Naylenie Tavaras gave Adirondack the lead, 2-1, in the top of the seventh. Jefferson sealed the win after a Cannoneer was struck by a pitch, leading to two runs scored. Samantha Manning and Pincheon each collected one hit for Adirondack and the team tallied seven stolen bases.
Maddy Wasserman opened the game for Adirondack. The righty surrendered 10 hits and three runs over six and one-third innings, striking out six and walking two. Final score 3-2, Jefferson
