Softball's Jarvis Goes Three For Four Against TC3

SUNY Adirondack hosted regional opponent Tompkins Cortland in a doubleheader on Saturday. The Timberwolves also took the time to celebrate their sophomores Paeton Butler and Naylenie Taveras prior to the game.
The Panthers got on the board first but Adirondack quickly retook the lead in the bottom of the first inning. Maddy Wasserman, Alyssa Jaffe and Samantha Manning each singled, scoring three runs. Marissa Jarvis singled in the second inning, scoring a fourth run. A TC3 homer in the third inning tied up the game but Samantha Manning broke the tie when she grounded out, scoring one run. A single by Madison Pincheon extended the lead, 6-4. Wasserman hit a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning, allowing Aubreigh DeMello to score. Final score 7-5, Adirondack
Jarvis collected three hits in four at bats with one RBI. Wasserman had two hits and two RBIs while Jaffe had two hits and one RBI. Lillian Slattery, Jarvis and Jaffe each stole multiple bases.
DeMello started in the circle for Adirondack. The righty gave up ten hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking zero.
