Softball Drops Game To Strong Monroe Team

SUNY Adirondack Softball traveled west to the Rochester area to take on regional opponent Monroe Community College. The game was scoreless until the bottom of the third inning, when the Tribunes took advantage of Adirondack's pitching. Monroe drove in eleven runs before the Timberwolves could close them down. The only hit of the day for Adirondack came from Morgan Randall.
Aubreigh DeMello took the loss for Adirondack. The righty went two and two-thirds innings, allowing eleven runs on fourteen hits, striking out one and walking one. Samantha Manning provided relief for the Timberwolves throwing one and one-third innings giving up two runs on five hits, walking one and striking out one. Final score 13-0, Monroe
