Softball Losses On Erie Walk-Off
May 4
Erie County, NY
SUNY Adirondack Softball played regional opponent Erie Community College on Sunday. It was a battle that had leads switching from team to team. Paeton Bulter put the first run on the board for Adirondack on a steal of home. A home run to left field by Morgan Randall gave the Timberwolves the lead 4-3 in the top of the third. More runs came in the fourth inning when Samantha Manning doubled to score Bulter. An Aubreigh DeMello bunt scored Manning and a Madison Pincheon single scored Lillian Slattery. Erie worked back to tie up the game and a walk-off in the seventh inning gave them the win. Final score 8-7, Erie.
Maddy Wasserman started in the circle for Adirondack. The righty surrendered fifteen hits and eight runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking seven.
Marissa Jarvis and Butler each collected two hits for Adirondack, while Butler also stole five bases.
