December 7, 2024 – Queensbury, NY
The SUNY Adirondack Women's Basketball team faced a tough challenge on Friday night, falling 83-30 to Finger Lakes Community College in the first game of their weekend back-to-back series. Despite a strong individual effort from sophomore Alyssa McGraw, the Timberwolves were unable to overcome the dominant play of Finger Lakes.
McGraw led the Timberwolves' offense with 11 points, while Hannah Gongola was a force on the boards, securing a team-high 11 rebounds. Jasmine Vandecar contributed 6 points in the contest, showing resilience despite the team's struggles against a well-rounded Finger Lakes squad.
The Timberwolves showed determination but were outpaced by Finger Lakes, who capitalized on their opportunities throughout the game. Adirondack will look to bounce back quickly with a game against Cayuga Community College on Sunday at noon.
