Timberwolves Volleyball Sweeps Hudson Valley
The SUNY Adirondack Volleyball team won their match against Hudson Valley Community College Wednesday night, 3-0.
It was a dominant performance by the Timberwolves who won in straight sets 25-20, 25-8, and 25-15.
In the second set of the match, sophomore outside hitter Jana Depalo set a new school record of 18 straight serving points. Depalo and fellow sophomore Karley Hertzner led the offense all night, each recording a team high 11 kills. Hertzner also had 4 blocks to lead the team. Freshman Raeann Bombard set a new career high in assists with 40. Morgan Bellanger led the team with 11 digs in the victory.
Following the win, the Timberwolves are now 13-7 on the season. They will be back in action next on Saturday, October 12th when they will compete in the Paul Smith's Tournament with Paul Smith's College and Davis College. Game time vs. Davis College is set for 10:00 AM, and game time vs. Paul Smith's is set for 3:00 PM.
