Volleyball Take Three From Monroe

SUNY Adirondack Volleyball's second match of the weekend had them playing Monroe Community College. The first set was neck-in-neck and nearly went down to the wire, with Adirondack taking the set 25-21. At that point, the Timberwolves kept up the pressure and although still working on their consistency, was able to pull off the win, taking the next two sets 25-16 and 25-14.
Samantha Manning was a consistent force with 7 kills in 18 attempts. Angelina Minnear and Lilian Slattery are looking to sharpen up their kills for added production for Adirondack. Defensively Lilian Slattery had 19 digs while Natalie Durkee recorded 11 and Lacey Russell 10.
Final score: Adirondack 3-0
